congrats on your son and awesome wife man! was telling someone today who asked who should come first spouse or parents about you and how you all were so connected through everything and your wife is a rockstar for supporting you through it all. i dont expect you to remember we had a comment section conversation once haha and your videos really raised me in some ways man. 29 now figuring a lot out still but idt i explained having a very aggressive emotionally abusive father and being the oldest so theres so much i just started to understand and learn super late but wouldnt have at all without your videos. theyre like a rock to go back to but also just wanna come back and check, pray even (despite not being that religious) you and your beautiful family are doing well. think about your mom from time to time too thank you for sharing parts of her with us, much love man.

my grandma was in a very similar state. she was stable for years until the last 6 months, it came all very sudden. It's heartbreaking. My mom did everything she could, from helping her go to the washroom, to adjusting her medication, diet, giving her water. you are a good son.

Ice1cube, you're my favorite channel on UA-cam. Everytime I watch your videos I feel smarter and have a different look on life, and I'm not just saying that because it sounds cool. Like other comments have said, it's like I'm listening to a TedTalk, but even better because you're not talking to a live audience, so it kind of feels like you're talking directly to me if that doesn't sound weird. The first video I watched from you 3 years ago, was the "i just wanted girls to like me" video, and I thought it was gonna be a meme compilation, but I felt like I actually learned a lot, so I started watching your other videos.

"Why anybody would notice or care about anything like that." lol, as a dude struggling with these insecurities later on in life yea that was definitely younger me "bro who gives a f***? That's so shallow by the very definition of the word shallow right?" Also dont feel bad about not making it at your camp. I gave up on basketball tryouts, AND I COULD HAVE MADE IT, I just realized I was doing it for my daddy not for me I aint a basketball guy Im a martial artsy fartsy ninja guy... Thanks for sharing such an awesome video! As a Christian myself, I believe in God, and although I don't understand all things, I know that God loves me and every single one of us. Sometimes, there isn't a reason for human suffering, but instead of asking why, ask what we can do to make the most out of the situation. Jesus truly suffered everything in the Garden of Gethsemane when He bled from every pore and when He was crucified just so He can know what it's like and to give us a chance to try again. I testify that this is true, and that one day like Christ did, we will live again in a glorious, complete perfect body after Jesus rose from the dead the third day, and although that day is far away now, it is getting closer every minute. Thanks for sharing such a personal story. My grandmother has dementia and she is starting to forget things but just because things aren't the same before doesn't mean the memories didn't happen. We can always look back and remember and then live a better tomorrow and continue to make new memories. I still see grandma when I can because I haven't seen her in 8 years, but I thank God she is still alive and well enough to have simple conversations about life in general. I want to be caring like you and still develop myself. Thanks for posting such good content. I will do something with my life now. Have a wonderful day.
